Work directly with our artists to create a one-of-a-kind tattoo designed specifically for you. From concept sketches to final ink, we bring your vision to life.

Custom tattoo design starts with a conversation. You bring an idea, a feeling, or a reference image. Our artists listen, ask questions, and sketch out concepts that match what you're after. No templates. No flash books. Just original artwork built around your story.

Francisco, Amanda, Brittany, Seva, and the rest of our team specialize in different styles. Some lean toward realism. Others do fine line work, bold traditional pieces, or intricate geometric patterns. During your consultation, we match you with the artist whose style fits your vision. You review sketches, request changes, and approve the final design before any needle touches skin.

The design process takes time. Most custom pieces require at least one consultation appointment before your tattoo session. Larger projects might need multiple sketches and revisions. We build in this time because the design matters as much as the execution. A well-planned custom tattoo looks better, ages better, and means more.

Pricing depends on size, detail, and time. Small custom pieces start around $100. Larger work is quoted after the consultation when we know exactly what you want. Some clients book multiple sessions for sleeve work or back pieces. Others get everything done in one sitting. We walk you through the timeline and cost before you commit.

You own your custom design. We keep the artwork on file so touch-ups years later match perfectly. But the design belongs to you. We won't reuse it for another client. That's the point of custom work. What goes on your skin is yours alone.

Custom Designs — FAQ

How long does the custom design process take?

Most custom designs require one consultation appointment scheduled a week or more before your tattoo session. Simple designs might be ready the same day. Complex pieces with multiple elements can take two or three rounds of sketches. We don't rush the design phase.

Can I bring my own design or reference images?

Yes. Bring photos, drawings, or anything that shows what you want. Our artists use your references as a starting point and adapt them to work as a tattoo. Straight copies of other tattoos or copyrighted artwork get reworked into original designs.

Do you charge for the consultation?

Consultations are free. If you book a tattoo appointment after the consultation, we require a deposit that goes toward your final cost. The deposit is non-refundable but holds your spot and covers the time our artist spent on your custom design.

What if I don't like the first design sketch?

We revise until you're happy with it. Most clients approve the design after one or two rounds of changes. If the direction isn't working, we start over. The goal is a tattoo you love, not a design we force through.
